What is Generic?
Generic means a medicine known by the original name, whose marketing company does not have an EXPIRY, BREAKAGE, TRANSPORTATION, etc. facility is not available. A medicine sold at a normal profit above the asking price. Generic Medicine -   PARACETAMOL is the content   and some medicines that  contain Eg- Crocin, Metacin   etc.

What is generic medicine?
Medicines have two names, one is a 'generic' name and the other is a 'branded' name, such as 'Paracetamol' is the generic name and 'Crocin', 'Metaxin' etc. are brand names derived from the paracetamol element. A drug with the same generic name is sold under several brand names in the market. Medicines are also available under generic names, but they have to be prescribed by a doctor. Generic drugs are much cheaper than branded drugs. Drug companies are always looking for a cure. Companies discover it and make medicine and patent it. These patents last for ten to twelve years. Until then, the drug company charges an arbitrary price for the drug, but the important thing is that the company has a patent on the formulation of the drug it makes. The company does not get a patent on the ingredients used in making the medicine, so anyone can make the same medicine themselves using those ingredients. This self-made, unbranded or off-patent drug is called a generic drug. There are many generic drug companies that make very cheap drugs, such as 'Lbuprofen', which is a very old brand-name drug, but made from the same ingredients as Nurofen, Brufen. Generic drugs are available in the market. Generic i.e. the basic substance (medicine) and the brand medicine made using the same substance in the same proportion have sky-high price difference, the effect is the same. For example, a simple medicine worth five rupees has to be bought for five hundred rupees. Even in brands, the bigger the name of the company, the higher the price. A company previously manufactured a drug called Augusta Liquid in Ebro for vaginal discharge. Augusta in Ebro is the Latin name for our herb oleander. Oolatakmal decoction was given by the doctors, and it was very cheap. According to a report, AIDS patients have to pay 30 thousand dollars a year in America and European countries. Cipla charges just one dollar a day for a similar drug in India. Only one dollar against 2500 per day! In scientific terms, generic medicine means "the word 'generarin' is derived from the Latin 'genus', from which 'generic' is derived, meaning a generic substance without a brand name, distinct from a generic name.
